Although the Scavenger Pump can be a real advantage to any dairy with a healthy lagoon and fairly loose bottom solids, it works especially well with Pro-Act Microbial’s manure treatment system.

The Pro-Act system excels at stratifying nutrients. A mature lagoon with good depth can have 2 lbs. of phosphorus at the top and 14 lbs. at the bottom. The Scavenger gives you a cost effective way of removing the nutrient-rich bottom water, leaving you with top water low in nutrients which can be applied to fields without going over your phosphorus limit.

In addition, the pump is engineered for portability, allowing you to move the pump between your lagoons as needed.
